You need critics to succeed

When we end up with meeting some difficult situation or have someone who critics us we dislike the moment or the person. What we don’t always understand is that going through a difficult time helps us getting motivated to push through and receive success.

One of the things that demotivates us can also motivate us on the longer term. For example you may get fired at your first or second job. This could be for righteous reason or completely taken out of tin air. At first it seems totally unfair and life destroying. However after a while you will settle with the decision and start to think more long term. How you can get better results despite the no-sayers and how you can prevent future problems.

If you have no critics you’ll likely have no success. – Malcolm X

The most famous, richest people are the ones who get to fight the battles in one day that others have to endure in an entire year. How often do you hear people speaking bad about the neighbour with the big house or expensive car? Tall trees catch much wind. The richer you are the more attention you attract, and not all of it is positive.

Think about famous sportsmen. For example Michael Jordan or Cristiano Ronaldo. They are some of the best in their game and they earn a lot of money with it. Their fanbase is enormous which is why so many people follow all of their moves. These superstars have a lot of critics but at the same they have achieved success. If they happen to manage their income and possesions well, theey will continue the path for long.

We don’t have to copy our idols. As long as you do your best in your area of expertise you have a chance of success. If you don’t just do “your best”, but go above and beyond what anyone would do, you will be successfull at some point in the future.
