When working on our health from time to time we happen to run into an injury. it is not the injury itself but the way you recover from it that determines how long it influences yourself and how you move forward from it.
Improving your health can be done extremely well by working out. Attempting to avoid injury is difficult but it allows to focus on what is important. You will have a strong basis and body composition. The longer you can maintain your health without running into an injury the better you will feel.
Healing is a matter of time, but it is sometimes also a matter of opportunity. – Hippocrates
It is possible to stay injury free for multiple years in a row. Unfortunately it’s impossible to never get hurt. It may come from a wrong movement, constantly working out, training certain muscles causing an unbalance and there are so many other reasons to get injured.
Our body can heal from almost anything. If you give your body time it can recover. How strong your body is with recovery can be determined by testing out a deload week. Use a week to workout less or not at all and let your body recover from any damage your body has to deal with. During the time that you are recovering you can search for new opportunities that cross your path.
Take the time of coming back to reflect on how you are doing and look for ways to improve more. It is at the time of downtime that you can look forward to what you can do in the future.
