For enabling ourself to obtain certain achievements we need to set goals and reach them. If we set our mind to work we can achieve anything we want.
In our last article we talked about how to set multiple goals or one big goal. The only way this is possible if you manage your goal and surpass what everyone deems possible. Set goals that seem impossible. Examples are get such a good immune system to never get sick anymore, have a mental strength to manage anything that heads you way, become the fittest person you know and so on. When one person accomplishes a goal everyone sees that it is possible and more people will start doing it. Don’t just be the person that follow others. But set your own goals, no matter how large, and accomplish them.
Set you goals high, and don’t stop till you get there. – Bo Jackson
Plan your goals as high as possible, except for putting them so high that you are not completing them. The only thing worse than not setting your goals high enough is not achieving the result that you want. It is much better to go for a 10 min walk everyday from now on instead of going for a 30 min run everyday but only for 3 months. Figure out how far you want to go and set up a plan to reach that and everything afterwards.
Once you have completed your goal set a new one and see all the benefits you obtain for constantly pushing yourself. However don’t make the mistake of setting too many goals at the same time. Aslong as you manage to continue most of your goals and mainly the most important you are golden. When you are on a streak it is a good idea to keep on going. Just make sure that you don’t use all your willpower to finish a certai one so you will never want to get on track again.
Completing one after each other is great, but also plan some rest moment where you don’t have to complete any of your goals. Maybe just try to prevent to much damage versus your goal. For example when you plan on becoming healthy don’t overeat (too much) when you are on vacation.
