Everyone either limits themselves or have other people putting up walls for them. Why wouldn’t you be able to become a professional athlete, the new Steve Jobs or a millionare?

The only reason most people will never become it is because they believe what others tell them. Trust everyone and you will follow the limits that they set for you. Even worse is that you don’t trust yourself enough. No matter what the others say, you can achieve anything you set your mind to. Our mind can be our greatest tool or the greatest weakness. When you are hit by adversity there are mainly two routes to take. Either you accept that you will no longer achieve your dreams or you fight harder and longer than you ever thought possible. At that moment it will feel as nobody helps you move forward. They motivate you to stay in the same place and take a breather of what just happened. However if you keep giving everything what you have into it people will notice it and continue to talk about it many years afterwards.

There are many ways to witness something that seems impossible. It could be that you are doing one thing that seems unbeatable. For example trying to build up your health so that you can keep up with your friend using an electric bike while you have a normal one. It may seem stupid and impossible to achieve. But if you go on frequent bike rides and your friend will accept to go a little slower you can build your health.

Another possibility of an impossibility is the combination of multiple goals at the same time. For example obtaining your diplome, maintaining your health, maintain your relationships and have a seperate goal to accomplish at the same time. This could be running a marathon, getting to know new people, learning a new hobby, and so much more. It is not one separate thing that is difficult it is trying to juggle all of them at the same time that makes it difficult. Especially if you consider doing this for consecutive years.

When you look at the difficulty you can always find a way to combine them one way or the other. For example keeping your health and maintaining your relationship with a friend can go hand in hand. Meet up with them to go for a walk, use your bike going to the location. Instead of going for a drink or a meal you have multiple of your goals being worked at during the same time. Plus you will get more enjoyment out of it.

Think about all your goals and find a line to combine them. Doing this you will able to break through the walls that stood in your way.
