As children parents and teachers learn us to fall in to a crowd, that we have to follow the same route as everyone in front of us. The thought of it is correct, but what happens if everyone else is going in the wrong direction? Should you follow or try to curve your own route?
Following the majority of the people will get you the same results as them. This can be great if you are looking for that, but if you aim for something bigger you will have to set a plan for yourself to follow. Consider how much work you put into your studies. There are many methods depending on what you want to achieve. You could study extremely hard, could do as much as everyone or (depending on your situation) you can do as much as is needed to succeed your courses. Regardless of which direction you end up taking don’t forget that you can always adjust and switch to a different one.

There is nothing wrong with copying people from time to time, but to get the best results you should be ready to find a new path. Being the one that others can follow is difficult, you are taking the risks. You will be the one who can fall, but there is also the possibility to succeed. After achieving success they will track your steps and try to emulate you. Putting in all the hard work is intense and it feels like it will never pay off. When you have continued for a long time you can see the benefits from it. Not only will you be doing great you will also see people being motivated by the results you achieved.
Don’t focus on adapting your life to the average. Set your goals higher and continue by taking one step after the other. You will see yourself surpass the dreams you never thought were possible. Do you know people who force you to be someone else, to do something you don’t like? Consider their opinion and reasoning behind it. If there is truth behind it, take a closer look and either follow it or decide for yourself. Doing what others want you to do wont make you succesfull, not even if they have found the path to success. Only if you believe the path and love doing it, or atleast don’t mind it, that you will find success doing it.
