Let no one stop you from achieving your true potential

What drives you?

In the world there are so many people and everyone has their own set of dreams and goals. What is your ambition and how can you go for it?

Dreaming big is no problem, but what happens when you start going for it? Depending on who the people are around you and how big the dream is they may not always think the same as you. Don’t let others stop you from achieving your true potential. After work you might be focussing on a hobby, which has the potential of growing into becoming your full-time passion and job. At first glance it takes up a lot of your time, this will provide your family and friends less time to be with you. This doesn’t have to become a problem. If you are spending a huge amount of time on your passion find something enjoyable to do with your parents or siblings when you aren’t busy. Go for a walk or a bike ride with them enjoying the little time that you have and make the most of it.

Continuous effort – not strength or intelligence – is the key to unlocking our potential. – Liane Cordes

The time you spend with your family and friends are well worth it. They may be unhappy about all the time you spend on your passion but it doesn’t have to hurt your relationship. The longer you continue on it they more efficient you will become. Instead of spending the whole weekend on writing articles you will be able to brainstorm the entire day and write it on paper in just a couple of hours. These hours can even be at a time of the day that your family is focussed on something else. Wake up earlier than everyone else and start writing. Or when they are still waking up – maybe even by scrolling on social media – you can write down some ideas or even start writing full articles.

Achieving your potential requires a lot of effort on your side, but you can make it as easy as possible for the people around you. At first you push through any difficulty by just putting effort in it at any time possible. After some time you are more proficient in it that you can even ask them what would be the time it would inconvenience them the least. This could become your time to strive without any extra pressure on the people you love. May it be in the morning, in the evening when they watch TV, when they go out with friends, when they are still coming home from work and you arrive home earlier. The first months or years they will have to adapt to your schedule. Later on you will be so motivated that you can focus it at any time no one is around. Continue to improve and keep your relationships in a perfect balance.
