Wednesday you were able to read about how learning a language is interesting. Being able to play a music instrument speaks to the imagination even more. Especially if you see and listen to people playing a instrument and have never tried it yourself. When talking to people about playing a instrument you notice that many people have played it in the past, but have stopped playing it. When you tried an instrument for a couple of months and laid it down afterwards you still have the possibility to become great.
Playing an instrument in first sight does not look so special. If you start playing an instrument you will see what intense training you have to get through to get better. That is why you will appreciate the musicians in your favorite band even more. Getting better and keep on pushing yourself is fun, challenging and admirable. The harder songs you start playing the better you will get and you will even be able to play in front of people.
I know a lot of people who wouldn’t be comfortable with everything that comes with being in a band as big as Nirvana. The thing that I don’t understand is not appreciating that simple gift of being able to play music. – Dave Grohl
Starting to performing in front of people is difficult, but it is a way to challenge yourself even further. The joy people will get out of seeing you perform will also return the favor to you. You will notice external motivation to improve. Performing in front of a crowd is something mainly reserved for musicians that play in a band. You may join a band someday, never close yourself off from anything. Allthough it can be said that not many people end up playing in a band, and it is not necessary to enjoy making music.
Playing in a band is mainly necessary to improve your sense of rythm to other instruments and to join group performances. Never be discoureaged to try what you feel you want to do. If you want to play music to relax or to improve your brain functioning, then keep on doing it. Wanna join a band? Maybe even start making money with it, then go for it and never let anyone stop you from chasing your dream.
