Life long learning

Keep learning
Continue learning

During our school years studying doesn’t seem attractive and is considered as an annoying activity. When you finish with your studies it didn’t seem all that bad. Continue on this path of studying and learning new things. It improves the quality of your life and you will be rewarded for it in the end. Just living through every day without learning new things is a very standard way of living.

Attempt to bring a short amount of learning into your daily routine. This way you continue to improve everyday. Make sure to choose something to learn that you enjoy doing or at least where the result is really enjoyable to think about. So the time you spend every day does not feel as wasted time or annoying moments that you want to avoid.

Change is the end result of all true learning. – Leo Buscaglia

When you learn things you allow yourself to create new possibilities in the future. A great example is learning new languages. Free up around 10-15 minutes a day for learning an extra language. Before you know it you recognise words used in movies, books and you will understand when the language is being used. The added benefit is that if you meet someone only speaking that language, you are able to help the person. Of all the people surrounding you, you are the one who will be capable to help a person in need. This is a great boost to your confidence.

Language is not the only thing that you can spend your time with. Have you ever played an instrument before? If you have think about how it made you feel and consider why you have quit playing the instrument. Learning does not have to mean learning a completely new thing everyday. Building on a strong foundation is also learning. If you have never touched an instrument it is not to late to start now. Start by just taking 5 minutes to learn an instrument. Before you know it you have added a new hobby that you will happily spend 30 minutes per day with and enjoy all the benefits.

Continuously strife for improving your life by spending time to learn. Other people only realise the power of learning later in life. Don’t wait and regret not returning to learning sooner than you did. Restart your learning activity now and make it an enjoyable journey.
