Last article we wrote about how it important to not seek for approval of others. Let us dive deeper into how you might have stumbled on a difficult path, yet you know or hope that you know, that there is light at the end of it.
When you first start on your mission you have a certain vision of how it will look like at the end of the long route. Before you reach that you meet up with many roadblocks, some visible and others you can’t even see. Look at the picture on this article, what do you think about if you see it? Are you focussing on how dark it is, how it seems that the route is becoming narrower? What will be behind the corner, will it be dark, will it be light, will there be nothing, will there be something beautifull? You don’t know untill you reach that point and you continue further.

Striving for a difficult goal means that you will counter a lot of persons not trusting your vision. They will try to convince you that you are making a mistake, you spend too much time in it, you are better of going to relax with them instead of pushing towards nothing. Despite if you are having a very clear end goal or not you know that you are not wasting your time. Instead of following the path that everyone else takes you can differ from it to do the things that are important for you. It could be something that no one else is willing to do, which in turn will make it special to do.
When you are living with your parents you obviously need to pay attention to what they expect of you. This is especially true if you are either not paying any rent or have a family rate. If you are solely focussing on fun and games it’s true that you need some of their approval, like at least work part time, and or help them with things at home. However when you are working full-time, participating in the household there is a limit to the approval you need. Wanting to spend some of your free time by writing articles, learning some specific topics or working towards switching jobs should bring no heartfelt emotion. When they see you are working hard most of the time you are allowed to choose your own path. As long as you don’t just quit your job without any look at replacement. Taking this path for example for doing fulltime youtube you should be ready to have saved up enough money for living on your own and taking everything on yourself.
Living on your own allows you to no longer need anyone’s approval. You strive for the goals you set yourself so you will be happy with yourself.
