Who says working out has to be difficult? It can be as easy or difficult as you would like it to be. Having a difficult time working out can be achieved by taking a lot of time to prepare special meals, driving 45 mins to a “special” gym and working out for 2 hours a day.
Making it more difficult to go workout is pointless. The only difficulty that is usefull to improve is the toughness of your workout. It’s great to improve the amount of weights you use or the intensity.
Improving your fitness mainly requires you to stay persistent with working out. Turn working out into a standard habit and you have no problem maintaining persistent. Take your first step by finding a movement that you love to do. It will make it easier for you to constantly maintain working out.
You can always improve your fitness if you keep training. – Pastor Maldonado
Do you like listening to a certain type of music? Try to add some music in your workouts. You will like your workout more by adding something that you like. Next of is the time that you want to use for working out. Don’t depend on your willingness to workout whenever you have time free. Set a specific time in the day free for working out. Preferably always at the same time.
Alternatively if no day is the same as the last, put your workout after something else that you are very strict with. For example after reading a book for an hour or after your music practice. Be mindfull after what activity you will put it. Cause if for watever reason you are quiting the activity you might find it harder to find the time for working out. Doing things in a certain order has the benefit of not forgetting the second activity because you already did the first one. The potential downside is that will quit both activities at the same time.
