Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! Have a wonderfull Christmas enjoy with family and friends. During the entire year it is possible to put your main focus on health all the time, Christmas is one of the exceptions. This time has to be centered around enjoying yourself and having a good time with your family.

Despite the focus on family during this period you can keep a small reminder in the back of your head to slightly alter what you are eating. There are multiple methods that you can apply. One is to just enjoy your time and don’t look at what you eat and drink at all. This can either imply you to workout extra hard during your rest hours or to work up your way before or after Christmas.

The second option you can do is to just mildly look at what you eat and drink. If you like the food a lot and want to give yourself a reward you can eat what you want and moderate your drinking. Or do you rather drink some extra glasses alcohol during the holidays? Make sure to temper your eating a bit and look for someone to drive you home or staying over for the night.

I love Christmas. I love the music… I love everything about Christmas. I’m a big fan. – Darius Rucker

Christmas doesn’t have to be a difficult time in the year for your health. If Christmas is your favorite time in the year then why shouldn’t you enjoy yourself during this time? It’s only happening once in a year, maybe a couple of dinners in one week, but still.

Christmas is almost over enjoy it while you can and if you stressed about your health this time around. Consider preparing for next year in advance. Either work out more beforehand, eat healthier or spread the different big Christmas meals out more. So you can decrease your food intake beforehand slightly. Instead of 5 slices of bread in the morning eat 4, instead of a full bowl of oats put a bit less in. Preparation is key to succes.

Have a nice day and enjoy your last days of the year!
