Resist pressure by creating inner peace

inner peace
Focus on building yourself

Current society is so much focussed around having to achieve certain milestones. Some examples are going to university, buying yourself a car and buying your own place to call home. All of these things can be something good to work towards, but only if it’s what you want to reach for.

Pursuing an university degree is one of those enormous goals that parents tend to provide or aim for their children. If this can only be achieved by working yourself, or your parents into heavy debt it may not be worth it. There are so many studies out there that barely provide any benefit for the long run. It’s not because people advise you do one thing or another that it necessarily is the way to go.

Success isn’t measured by money or power or social rank. Success is measured by your discipline and inner peace. – Mike Ditka

You don’t need that brand new car or that huge house to consider yourself succesfull. It is only when you can see yourself retracted from all those financial perceptions that you can have true inner peace. You wont buy things just because others bought it, you wont go anywhere you don’t want to be. When you manage to look away from all the clutter you can be at peace with yourself.

Next time you are walking through a shopping center or a shopping street don’t look for products that others would buy. Only purchase those items that would like. This way you will even free up money that you would otherwise waste on things that you will never use. With the spare cash you are able to do whatever you want. You will create more financial freedom and will become more ease with yourself.
