Yesterday we wrote about comfort zone breaking. Getting outside of your comfort zone once in a while is great. Breaking out of it every single day when you start your day is the greatest feeling.
When you start of your day in a difficult way you will ready for anything that comes on your way. Taking a cold shower first thing in the morning sounds worse then it actually is. The first times will be harder, but easy into it slowly.
Before you start blasting away with the cold water it is only fair to give some health warnings. Firstly if you have heart problems or it runs in your family, don’t take cold showers. If you feel any excessive discomfort that doesn’t feel normal, stop it immediately. Secondly when you pay a visit to your doctor bring up the cold showers and see what they think about it. Have some medical advise before taking cold showers. Final warning: don’t use cold showers after your daily workout! It is very tempting to step in a cold shower after working out hard. But this is a shock that you should risk for your health.

Now that the warnings have been shot let’s dive deeper into the reason you should take cold showers. Besides the obvious comfort zone breaking there are so many other benefits. To name a few. Your body will have to fight through the cold, this mechanism will also be used when you are getting sick. Your immune systeem will thank you a lot for doing the cold showers. That being said if your body daily fights through the cold your body will be completely ready for winter.
